Here we have another colorful martingale walking lead for your favorite little guy or gal. A cotton print fabric featuring travel posters from around the world, satin ribbons and a touch of gold/silver trim adorn this martingale walking lead sized for a small dog. It is fully lined with the same cotton print fabric and well padded for extra comfort

The collar base is made of 600lb test poypropylene webbing. The leash part is of 3/4 inch webbing about 6 ft long. The collar section is 1 1/2 inches wide and about 9 1/2 inches from ring tip to ring tip. This will fit a small dog with a neck size of about 10 or 10 1/2 to 11 inches.
A walking lead is a collar and leash combination constructed as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. My leads were originally designed to fit sighthounds (who can easily back out of a regular collar and leash), but work well on other breeds of dogs. The collar section slips over your dog's head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a proper fit. Please note in Candy's picture how this works.

A Word of Caution

All of my leads and collars are fairly wide and well padded. But, be careful of using any type of collar on tiny, delicate dogs. Some breeds of small dogs, particulaarly Italian greyhounds are highly susceptalbe to throat injury. If your little guy pulls or struggles in a collar, he could injure himself. For these types of dogs, a harness or harness vest may be a safer alternative. Artfire is an excellent source of custom-made little-dog clothing designed specifically for this purpose.
