Move on back in time to the 1960’s with this neat cotton print fabric in purples oranges and yellows on the collar section of this beautiful martingale collar and leash combination. It is sized to fit a greyhound, saluki, afghan hound or any similar size dog. It is fully lined with the same cotton print fabric over a soft fleece padding.

The collar section is 2” wide and about 13” long from ring tip to ring tip, which will fit a dog with a neck size about 14 inches to 15 or 16 inches. . The leash section is of 1 inch webbing, about 6 ft long. The purple webbing base for the entire unit is 800lb test polypropylene. The D-rings are heavier-weight, zinc or nickel plated, welded steel

Hand wash your lead in cold water and hang to dry. Do not put it in the dryer.

I have 2 of these listed with this same picture. The satin ribbons and iridescent ribbon trims are the same on both, but due to the nature of the fabric, they are both a bit different. The lead in the picture has more and blue, the other one leans more into the yellow and lavenders.

A walking lead is a collar and leash made as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. The collar part slips over your dog’s head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a snug fit. Candy demonstrates how this is worn. My leads are designed to fit sighthounds, who can easily back out of a regular collar and leash, but work equally as well on other breeds of dogs.
