This martingale walking lead features a soft palm leaf pattern in pale shades of beige and pink on black. Kind of reminds me of an Hawaiian print, but not as bright. The sides are finished with black satin ribbons, black ric rac and iridescent ribbon trims. This lead is sized for a greyhound or any larger dog breed. It is fully lined with the same cotton fabric over top of polyester fleece padding.

The entire unit is made of 800lb test polypropylene webbing. The D-rings are heavier-weight, zinc or nickel plated, welded steel. The collar part is 2 inches wide and about 13 inches from ring tip to ring tip. This will fit a greyhound or similar size dog with a neck size about 14 inches to 15 or 16 inches. The leash part is made of 1 inch webbing about 6 ft long.

A walking lead is a collar and leash made together as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. The collar part slips over your dog's head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a snug fit. Candy demonstrates how this is worn. The design was originally for sight hounds, who easily back out of regular collars and leashes, but can be used on any breed.

Hand wash your leads in cold water and hang them to dry.
