Dark Green Martingale Collar and Leash Combination, Italian Greyhound

A cotton print fabric in shades of green highlighted with gold, green satin ribbons and gold ribbon trims decorate this small dog size martingale collar and leash walking lead. It is fully lined with the same cotton fabric and well padded for extra comfort The dark green webbing base is 600lb test polypropylene. The leash part is made of 3/4 inch webbing about 6 ft long. The collar part is 1 1/2 inches wide and about 9 1/2 inches from ring tip to ring tip. This will fit small dog with a neck size about 10" or 10 ½" inches to 11 inches.


A walking lead is a collar leash combination used for walking. It is constructed as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. My leads are designed primarily to fit sighthounds (who can easily back out of a regular collar and leash), but also work well on other breeds of dogs. The collar section slips over your dog's head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a proper fit. Please note in Candy's picture how this works.

A Word of Caution

All of my leads and collars are fairly wide and well padded. But, be careful of using any type of choke collar on tiny, delicate dogs. If your little guy pulls or struggles in a collar, he could possibly injure his throat. For these types of dogs, a harness or harness vest may be a safer alternative.
