Here we have an elegant whippet size blue walking lead decorated with an embroidered ribbon trim in soft shades of blue with gold metallic ribbons and ric rac. This martingale collar and leash combination walking lead is made to fit a whippet, small greyhound or any similar size dog. The base is made of 600-lb test polypropylene bue webbing. The collar section is 10 ½ inches long and 1 ½" wide. This will fit a dog with a neck size about 11 inches to 11 1/2 or 12 1/2inches. The leash part is made of 3/4 inch webbing about 6 ft long. It is fully lined with blue cotton fabric over fleece padding.

This is made as a single unit. The leash is not detachable
What is a Martingale Walking Lead?

A walking lead is a collar/leash unit used for walking. The collar part slips over your dog's head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a snug fit Candy demonstrates how this is worn. This is made as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. My leads are designed primarily to fit sighthounds (who can easily back out of a regular collar and leash), but also work well on other breeds of dogs.

Measure at the skinniest point of the neck-usually right behind the ears and again a few inches down where the bottom of the collar will rest. Somewhere between them will determine the correct size. When the slide on the leash is snugged down, it will pull the rings on the collar section together. The rings should not touch. There should be at least a 1/2 space between them. The best fit is 1 to 1½ " between them.

Hand wash, cold water and hang to dry
