In the metalprint process, the photograph is dyed onto an aluminum surface, then sealed; the corners are rounded and a "float" is attached to the back for a crisp, bold, modern look. The surface is scratch-resistant and waterproof, and easily cleaned with any glass cleaner.

The second image in the listing shows similar pieces hanging as part of a show, and gives an hint to how the metal prints can interact with the shifting of the light, and also how they "float" against the wall.

2010 was a year of looking inward, and I spent the year concentrating on a body of work far separate from the more elaborate, science fictional tableux with models I had been concentrating on, instead spending slow, contemplative time at home with small bouquets at intensely close distances, creating landscapes from nature's arrangements of petal and color. These works are at their best printed large, so very much larger than life than identifying which particular bloom is the origin becomes irrelevant.
