"Festival" is the name I gave this upcycled purse, because of the colors against the black background.

I added the strap, the zipper, and the embellishments. There is no internal pocket. This purse is very sturdy--it just needed a little extra love to help it live again!

The purse measures approx. 11.5" (29.2 cm) wide at its widest point (it's a tapered design) x approx. 10.25" (26 cm) long. It opens to approx. 6" (15.2 cm) thick/deep. The strap is approx. 17.25" (43.8 cm) long. On a person of average height, it hangs right about at hip level.

This was a fun bag to design.

The bright colors and the elaborate designs of the buttons and trim I used against the black remind me of fireworks or confetti. That's why I have named this bag "Festival."
