"Disco Babe" is a necklace made from recycled/reclaimed components. Some were my own pieces, and others were found or have been given to me over the years.

The chain is either gold or gold plate, and the bail and toggle clasp are, I believe, brass. I had a very good time working with the components to pull the piece together, but it was really challenging!

This necklace is super-long, measuring approximately 28" (71.1cm)! This was deliberate, as the length is conducive to and suggests movement.

Put her on and dance the night away!

I was a kid in the 70s, but sometimes I wish I wasn't. The music and culture around disco seems fascinating now. In particular, I like the color combinations that you see. This necklace was a way for me to interpret that.
