Product Description
Jericho: The South Beheld is a beautiful, beautiful exploration of life in the Southern United States. The rich writing of James Dickey and the evocative, life-like paintings of Hubert Shuptrine combine to tell a very enriching tale.

This copy includes a frame-ready 8 x 12 of a painting by Shuptrine entitle "Late Afternoon." The print is a little bit bent in the lower left-hand corner, and there is some yellowing with age.

The book is a hardcover book with dust jacket. It measures approximately 16" (40.6cm) long and approximately 12.5" (31.8cm) wide. There are 165 pages, and the book is stamped "number 121,016 of 150,000."

The book was published in 1974 by Oxmoor House, Inc. in Birmingham, AL. The dust jacket is a little torn in a few spots and has some marking caused by age. The cover of the book itself appears intact. All pages are present and intact, and there are no markings inside of the book. The binding is unbroken.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I remember spending hours poring over this book as a little girl in my grandmother's den. I love this book, and I hope that others will, too.
