The book is in very good shape, considering its age. Only the top edge of the pages has retained its gilt. There are some slight dents in the edges of the front and back covers. Pages inside are in good shape. Some pages show very slight creasing at the top. There is some faint creasing inside the front cover and on one of the pages of the table of contents. The outside corner of the pages show some water staining, but it does not bleed over onto the pages. All pages are present, and the binding is unbroken.
