This necklace is made up of puffy purple jasper coins. Each bead has a bit of a rust color entwined with the purple. Between each coin is a 3.2mm copper spacer bead.

This necklace measures 18" long and is closed with a antique copper barrel clasp.

There's a bit of a story behind these purple beads. On the day that I went to pick up my copy of Bead Unique magazine with my featured piece at the bead shop I was browsing through the selection of gemstone beads that they have. These purple jasper coins practically jumped off the board and into my hand. They were so pretty. I was thinking that they would be great with silver. It wasn't until I got them home that I saw the rust streaks running through them. Copper popped into my head. They look great with the bright shiny copper but also with the antiqued copper as well.
