A flower design pendant carved from purpleheart wood dances with gray Brazil agate, dark brown wood beads, and gold accents in this rich, earthy piece. Agates are said to attract strength and protect us from bad dreams, stress, and energy drains. Purpleheart wood grows in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. When it is cut, purpleheart wood turns from its original beige to purple color. With age, it turns to a dark purple or brown. The wood is also known as amaranth and violet wood. This necklace can be adjusted from 18" to 20". The pendant is 3" in diameter. Coordinating Agate and Dark Brown Wood earrings sold separately.
