Long dangle sterling cockatoo feather earrings with Swarovski crystals.

They hang an impressive 5 inches (12.7 cm) but are light on the ear and have a flirty swing!

Cockatoos aren't rare parrots but they only have a few crest feathers which they only molt about once a year. Then for me to locate matched set of these feathers in good condition is a very difficult feat. This is the first batch I've located in over a year! I currently only have a very small amount of these feathers in stock so you won't see these earrings very often.

Stunning and yet so simple! Cockatoo crest feathers in all their brilliant natural beauty are accented by large Swarovski fire opal crystals. All dangling from sterling silver findings and hand forged ear wires.

Swarovski fire opals are a bright mix of yellow and reddish orange which are a perfect compliment to the cockatoo crest feathers. The feathers are incredibly soft and gradually fade from bright white to orange, yellow with a few hint of pink interspersed.
