Table top model trebuchet with hinged counterweight. Constructed from I believe ash although I'm not positive as this was from salvaged material. with a stainless axel with copper bushings. Designed for ping pong balls with a throwing range of approx 25-30 feet. Need to defend your space then this will do the trick in a medieval manner. Bombard your spouse, co-workers or any target of opportunity.
All beams are 7/8 square finished with Teak oil for protection of the wood.
14 1/4 inches to the main axel. Throwing arm is 20 inches overall with a height of 30 inches when the arm is released. The base is 15 inches long X 13 inches wide, the track is approx 5 inches wide. The pouch is denim with jute lines.
Although this is a toy it is intended for adults as the throwing arm moves with considerable force when fired so small children should use it only with supervision. I used 7.5 birdshot for the weight which is what I recommend. It is not included due to increased shipping costs. &.5 or 8 birdshot is readily available at any sporting goods store.
