Native American Beaded Necklace Fools Gold

$30.00
Quantity: 1 available
Product Description
This necklace is made of seed beads, goldstone beads and goldstone chips. The "necklace" portion of the piece is 25 inches long. The "dangle" portion is 4 inches. The combination of chip beads, round beads and seed beads add great interest to this necklace.

Goldstone has no symbolic meaning in Native American culture as it is a man made product. However, this should not preclude its use as it can be worn for its pure beauty!

Goldstone is glass made by subjecting copper and copper salts to heat. The process was discovered in Venice by the Minotti family in the 17th century. Goldstone is also called Monk's Stone, Monk's Gold, or Stellaria. It is a beautiful gold flecked glass bead and is not a natural mineral but beautiful never the less!
