What an absolutely fabulous way to accessorize with an original work of art. I made this glass tile pendant using a photograph that I took of a ceramic plate that I made and glazed.

I love butterflies. I could probably qualify for being obcessed with butterflies. I love painting and photographing butterflies. This pendant was inspired by the tiger swallowtail butterfly. One of my favorites. First came the plate, then the photograph, then the pendant.

The wire wrapping is a fun addition and doubles as a bail for the pendant.
