What a wonderful way to accessorize using an original work of art. I made this glass tile pendant using an image from a ceramic plate that I created. The butterfly is a Cairns Birdwing

My first love is clay. I love getting muddy. I throw on my potter's wheel and I handbuild and often I combine the two. Lately I've been spending time having fun making scrabble and glass tile pendants. This piece combines the clay with the scrabble. The image is a photo that I took of a ceramic plate that I created. Butterflies are my favorite and this one has Cairns Birdwing fluttering around.
