This Young Daydreamer is looking past the present and dreaming about things to be. She is hand sculpted by me from Red Clay.

In every sculpture I do I can see traits of special people I know. Maybe it's the way the mouth is sculpted, or the height of the forehead or the cock of the head. When I sculpt all the memories I hold dear come out to make a one-of-a-kind sculpture. There is no other just like this one, nor will there ever be. She is a unique art sculpture.

The walls are hollowed to within 1 inch thick to insure that the piece would fire evenly in the kiln. She is a bust shape so that just the ruffle of her dress shows.

It was fired over 2000 degrees and cooled to room temperature before opeing the kiln. She has no cracks and is in excellent condition.

She is a great shelf or table display.
She looks like she is cooing. Her nose is upturned, she has dimples and her hair is curly.

She is 9 inches tall, 8 inches deep and 8 1/2 wide.

I was inspired by my 5 grandkids, so she is a combination of expressions and personality.
