Shea butter is derived from natural fat extracted from the nut on the Karite tree found in West Africa. Shea butter is said to help protect your skin from harmful UV rays. People with nut allergies need to be aware that this could cause reactions. This big white bar is 5.5 ounces has no added color or fragrance. If you prefer I can add fragrance just email me. There are no detergents in this bar.
