Product Description
This purple flower polymer clay candle holder is so pretty!
It is a glass votive covered in purple flower cane* slices and rolled smooth. After baking, the holder was glazed multiple times for a gorgeous shine. The background clay is translucent so that when the candle is lit, the light shows through the clay.
*A cane is a log of clay with a design running the length of it so that when you cut off a slice, you have a two-sided design. No paint is used.
Candle holder measures approximately 2 inches (5 1/2 cm) in diameter and 2 1/2 inches (6 1/2 cm) tall. A white tealight candle is included.
Item #: CA021
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I was still fairly new to cane-making when I did this one. I had a skirt with purple and burgundy flowers on it and wanted to make some jewelry to match. This flower is very close to the purple one on that skirt.
