Recycle, reuse, repurpose. An old "Paris Blues" jacket came into my hands many years ago. I loved the style but wanted to make this one of a kind and so I did.

It has some beading, but I didn't want to go over board, so the beading is minimal. The center piece of each feather is a cluster of French knots. Thread is satin thread. Silvery/gold metallic thread forms the cones of the French knots and the crown of the peacock. It's very 3D. It is one of a kind. The jacket is at that gently worn, just a bit frayed stage. No holes though. Oopps! I forgot to add the size. The jacket is a size 11.

I love color, and spicing things up a bit. This pattern was copied from an old pillow case embroidery pattern.
