Unique, large faceted yellow snow agate rounds contain shades of pale lemon to deep burnt orange with patterns of white. I have mixed these with beautiful citrine quartz rounds and antique bronze filagree beads and beadcaps. The necklace is finished off with a TierraCast heirloom brass toggle.
Matching earrings dangle 1 1/2 inches from Niobium earwires which are safe for most metal sensitive ears.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Yellow snow agate aka fire crab agate or snow lemon agate is named for its similarity in pattern to crab shells. This enhanced agate offers lovely yellow hues. Additional techniques are applied to create the surface crazing.
Agate is a cooling stone and is said to cure insomnia, protect against danger, promote strength and healing, and ensure a healthy life.

Citrine is valued for the treatment of depression and is said to eliminate self-destructive tendencies. It also is purported to stimulate memory, aid digestion, remove toxins from the body and fight diabetes. Citrine symbolizes light-heartedness, joy, happiness, wisdom and peace, and is said to enhance creativity and motivate writers.

TierraCast uses an alloy called Britannia, composed of 92% tin, 7.5 % antimony and .5% copper. Tin is refined from ore that contains other metals, including lead. A chemical process is used to remove the lead, but trace amounts still remain. Made in the USA.
