Here is another treasure from Keating Wood Craft. Give your home the charm and warmth of days gone by with our primitive candle holder. The two depicted in our photos are identical except for their finish. Both are constructed from solid pine and then a walnut stain is applied. The next step is to paint the candle holders, one has a deep burgundy latex paint the other is a rich hunter green. The candle holders are then distressed and finally several coats of butchers block wax is applied for protection. We have two of these in our front entry way with small votive candles and they really give our home that warm welcome feeling. The candle holders feature a scalloped back with a hole drilled in the center for ease of hanging. Place it on a wall or from a peg on a coat rack coming soon to our studio.
