Authentic Turquoise Hammered Sterling Silver Necklace Turquoise is perhaps the oldest gemstone known to man and thought to be a stone of great power; protecting the one who wears the stone. On this necklace I put 48 turquoise gemstones. All links are sterling silver, hand made by me and hammered. The focal is made from a heavier sterling silver wire, hammered for texture and wire wrapped with turquoise rondelles. A sterling silver chain embellishes the focal. The Turquoise is a blue turquoise from the Hubei Province.
