I am actually quite proud of this piece. It turned out exactly how I envisioned. It is made out of snowflake obsidian, glass black matte finished czech beads and sterling silver. The focal is carved like a rose. It drapes BEAUTIFULLY on the neckline. The clasp is a slide clasp and holds very well and is also sterling silver. If you would like the earrings to go with the necklace... They are made out of black onyx, sterling silver and Swarovski crystals. I will sell the earrings for $10.00 with the purchase of the necklace. They are normally $15.00. You will see them on my opening page for "jewelry" and in the picture below.
