The total length of the pendant measures approximately 68mm (about 2 3/4 inches) from the top of the brass bail to the bottom of the copper. It hangs from a 20 inch Copper Ox chain, which picks up the rich darkness of the patinaed copper. The length of the chain can be adjusted (or remade if you'd like it longer).

This was etched using artwork by Tim Holtz. I especially love the birds in flight!! Maybe they're heading south to escape the upcoming snow and cold? :-)

Snow Birds is truly a mixed metals piece of jewelry! It has sterling silver, vintage brass, and copper, all used to showcase a beautiful transparent blue borosilicate bead.

These have been cleaned with a Polishing Pad , but if you would like me to coat them with a jewelry wax to prevent tarnish, please let me know in the Notes to Seller.

All of my beads are created by me in my little studio in New England. While these have been digitally kiln annealed directly from the torch, they are glass and may break if mishandled. Not intended for children

I try to use pictures that are true to color, but monitors vary. These were photographed indoors using Daylight bulbs.
