Copper Electroformed Lampwork Pendant Garden Variety

Product Description
The glass compression "bead" was created in the flame and put directly into kiln so that it is properly annealed. It was then attached to a brass filigree and electroformed.

Electroforming is the process of transferring a copper form (vs a thin copper plate) onto an object. This process for this particular pendant took approximately 14 hours. The copper has been patinaed for an Olde World look. It measures approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

The pendant is hung from a silk cord using a sterling silver bail. The copper has been coated with a microcrystalline wax to protect the patina.

All of my glass is created by me in my little studio in New England. While the glass has been digitally kiln annealed directly from the torch, it is glass and may break if mishandled. Not intended for children.

I try to use pictures that are true to color, but please remember that monitors vary. This was photographed indoors with daylight bulbs.

The picture of my packaging is a sampling of what your necklace might arrive in. Since these are handstamped by me, if you'd like a different object than the key, please let me know in the Notes to Seller. I've also done these up with a pocketwatch and bird in a cage.
