Created by soldering a sterling silver post to the back of a petite vintage brass cylinder, these stud earrings are perfect for when you need to wear earrings but dont want fancy dangles or color. They have been very popular at my shows! A great Secret Santa/Elf gift or stocking stuffer!

Cleaned and polished back to their original color, these can be cleaned periodically to keep this color, or they can be allowed to patina naturally. The brass measures approximately 5 mm in diameter and is about 4 mm thick. The earring posts are sterling silver. The studs are held to your ear with medium weight sterling silver earnuts.

These have been cleaned with a Polishing Pad, but if you would like me to coat them with a jewelry wax to retard tarnishing, please let me know.

One of my favorite things to do is to put on some old jeans and t-shirt, meet up with a few friends and head to the old, dusty, crammed to the ceiling building that houses a supplier. After spending hours pawing through the boxes of vintage and old findings, we go home with design ideas flashing through our heads like a high-speed slide show.

The brass part of these earrings were purchased on my last visit there. I knew when I picked them off the dusty shelf that they were destined to become stud/post earrings!! Were meeting up again today so be on the lookout for new (probably brass) stud earrings.
