This simple striped baby quilt has an easy going patchwork in bands of reproduction vintage fabrics. The quilting is all done by machine and follows the lines of the striped bands and the border. The backing fabric is a light cornflower blue with a white polkadot background around medium sized doodle flowers. The doodle flowers have pale yellow and pale red centers. This is a great quilt for a nursery or to bring along as a soft, clean surface for your baby to play wherever you go. These make wonderful shower gifts!



All quilts are approximately 33" X 42" and made from 100% cotton fabric. The batting is cotton with a small amount of polyester to reduce bunching after washing. All quilted items have a light amount of stitching; the designs allow the fabric print patterns to stand on their own. The fabrics used are all authentic reproductions of 1920's through 1940's designs. The retro colors and soft details make for a warm and inviting look in any nursery, but especially those trying to tie in with an older home.



To Clean: Gentle cycle machine wash in cold water. Machine dry on low heat or hang.

Version #1: A band of solid deep lavender with a contrasting band of buttery yellow. The yellow fabric is covered in a pattern of small white tulip style flowers.



Version #2: (TEMPORARILY SOLD OUT!) A band of solid cornflower blue with a contrasting band of pale lavender. The lavender fabric is covered in a pattern of small white tulip style flowers.



Version #3: A band of solid coral pink with a contrasting band of pale green. The green fabric is covered in a pattern of small white flowers on a darker green running vine.

After searching through baby superstores for one baby shower gift after another, I realized that there was nothing on the market that suited my taste. Most items screamed "THIS IS THE BABY'S ROOM" and living in an older home I knew I would want something a little more subtle. After stumbling upon fabrics in reproductions of 1920's through 1940's prints, I decided to start making my own gifts. They were a hit and the requests started coming.
