This statement hair facinator updo comb is made of a tortoise shell color acrylic material and adorned with gold tone metal filigree end caps, gold tone metal fluted beads, gold tone acrylic beads, and clear faceted acrylic beads in various shapes and sizes. The beads are hand wrapped to the comb with clear acrylic cording. Please note some of these are glass beads and care should be taken when wearing and using the comb. The comb's design is mine and it is hand beaded by me. It measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches in length. Perfect for every day wear and special occasions too.

I would like to help you to learn what designates a comb as a French Hair Comb. I sell primarily Hair Jewelry on most of my sites and have been making and selling them for years- so I know what they are called and how to determine that- it is very simple.

Please note this is a true "french hair comb." This is what is used in a french twist hair style. Others may call their combs a "french comb" but only combs of this shape and size are really french hair combs. Smaller combs are called "side hair combs" or just "hair combs." Combs of any size that are "Made in France" should be labeled as being made in France and not just called a French comb. It is the SIZE that designates a comb as a French Hair comb not where it is made.
