I knit it in a very soft 100% wool - a perfect fiber to keep baby warm. Wool is absorbent and wicks moisture. Fine quality wools are never itchy.

The hat is sized to fit a newborn baby. It is 12 inches in circumference around the head and tapers to a knot at the end. Because fine wool is stretchy and resilient, the hat will fit baby for several months. If you want the hat for an older baby, please contact me.
