I knitted the shrug with a high-end, very soft alpaca and wool blend yarn in three shades - lavender, gray, and violet. It was a pleasure to work with this beautiful yarn and it will be a pleasure for you to wear it.



The body of the shrug is knitted in an openwork lace stitch that has lots of stretch and drapes wonderfully. Then I added some delicate crochet to the ends of the sleeves for stability and style, and to form a bell-shaped sleeve. The shrug will fit from size small to medium and the sleeves will end at about elbow length.



The shrug can also be worn as a scarf or a cowl. This means that you can wear it as a scarf with your coat, and then when you remove your coat, you can wear it as a shrug. Presto Chango! Everyone will think you're so clever. In addition, the shrug folds up into a neat and easy to pack rectangle or square, so it's perfect for taking on trips.
