I crocheted this one-of-a-kind hat using two luxury yarns - a soft Merino wool and a variegated hand painted wool roving. Both yarns are in beautiful, subtle shades of Blue with a touch of violet. This hat couldn't be softer, and no synthetic hat could ever be as warm as natural wool. The hat is double thickness without being too heavy.

Also, you will look so adorable in this hat. It comes low down on the forehead to keep that delicate part of your head warm. It has wonderful dangles on each side over your ears and the yarn colors are just amazing. Moreover, the hat is made to stay on securely without flattening your hair.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I live near the New York City Bay where it opens out from Manhattan. When the winds blow across the water, my forehead hurts no matter what I have on my head. Thus was born my Wacky Hats which cover that sensitive area. No wind will get through to chill your forehead bones. I promise!

I designed and crocheted this hat in my clean - no smoke, no pets - studio and will package it securely so that it arrives at your home in perfect condition.
