I knit the hats in very soft 100% wool - a perfect fiber to keep baby warm and cozy. Fine quality wools are never itchy.



The hats are sized to fit a newborn baby. I can make these hats in ANY COLORS of your choice, not just the colors shown in the pictures. I can also make the hats solid rather than striped if you prefer.

As a mother of three, I'm always inspired to design new hand knitted and crocheted baby clothes that are healthy for babies to wear. I love to use fine wool yarns, especially Merino.

Wool is much warmer than synthetics(acrylic, nylon), healthier for babies, wears much better, and doesn't harm the planet as petroleum-based synthetics do.

You might not have realized that acrylic clothing is made from petroleum, the gas you put in your car! The use of petroleum causes both ecological and economic problems. So I say - go green with wool and keep your baby comfortable and happy!

I design and knit these hats in my smoke-free, pet-free studio and package them securely so that they arrive at your home in perfect condition.
