This shawl is an ever-changing surprise of discovering new ways to wear it. Its size, shape and gorgeous drapey yarn make it stunning and interesting whether tossed casually over shoulders or draped with care. It can be tied or crisscrossed to fashion a blouse for atop an evening dress, tied as a vest, worn over your hair and around your neck and body, wrapped just once or several times ... the possibilities seem to be endless.

The yarn used is very beautiful -- Lion Brand's Trellis, a combination ladder ribbon novelty that's shimmering and lacy. It's got excellent drape and just seems to naturally place itself gracefully.

The color is called Rainbow; a mixture of all the colors of the rainbow placed against a dark blue (ladder) backing like a stormy sky. All the little ribbon pieces catch the light and shimmer. It's made of nylon, so care is to hand wash (cool or warm) and air dry.

The shape is rectangular with pointed ends that are finished with tassels. It's approximately 96 inches long (unstretched and excluding the tassels) by 20+ inches wide (also unstretched). The tassels are 6 inches long. The measurements are actually quite difficult to take as the fabric drapes, stretches, or "shrinks" according to how it's touched, lain or hung. The 20 inch width can stretch and drape itself to be two or three times that! If traveling, this piece can truly be rolled into a ball and smashed into a corner of a bag ... and emerge looking as lovely and beautiful as ever.
