When I attended a bead show lately I found these wonderful Purple Rainbow Agates. At first glance I passed over the strand that you now see the beads from, the center stone - also in the center of the temporarily strung strand - looked cracked. I picked it up and loved the others in the strand, then set it down because I was still sure the center stone was cracked. When I picked it up again (for the third time) I looked more closely and discovered that it is not cracked, it actually is a clear vein that runs right through the middle of the stone! From that moment I saw the crack on this wonderful stone, the necklace was already made in my mind's eye. When you look really closely you can actually see the beading wire moving through the clear vein.

Swarovski Crystals and Copper beads make all the colors pop. Although this set has a more traditional 'fall' coloring to it, it can go with almost every season and every outfit - dressing it up or down. I did use Gold Plated crimp beads and wire guardians, mainly because the wire I used was a bit thicker (due to the weight of the stones). Although it is not THAT heavy, it is just better to use a thicker wire - in case. The other findings are made of Copper.

Necklace measures at 22" in length and can be lengthened if needed.

Earrings measure at 2" in length.
