Take your old fur coat and Stuff It!



Custom Order 14 - 22 inch teddy bear from your fur garment. All bears are fully lined and double stitched to endure years of hugs. Each bear is fully jointed, with wired arms, glass eyes, felt or leather pads and an embroidered nose. Faces are carefully scissor and razor sculpted to achieve a unique and pleasing personality. Your bear will be finished with a beautiful custom made bow or collar. Clothing is extra.

I will begin creating a bear upon receipt of your garment, and a 50% deposit. Balance and shipping due prior to having the finished bear sent to you. I can email you complete instructions for sending your garment to me. Over the past 15 years, I've received countless furs and my bears have homes all over the globe.

Shipping of your garment to me, and sending the bear back to you is not included in the price. 22.00 for sending this bear back to you. 6.00 extra for each additional bear.

How much fur do you need to make a teddy bear?

A fur stole will make 2 10 inch bears or one 15 inch bear with straight legs if all the fur is usable. Long coats in good condition can often be used for multiple bears. Sometimes portions of a coat cannot be used because of the condition of the fur, or the placement of buttons and pockets. For 6 inch bears, sometimes only a collar is needed. Please see my other listing for smaller bear custom orders.



Once I receive a garment, I will call you to confirm that what you want done can actually be done.



What do you do with remnants?

Remnants can be returned to you if you like. Simply specify this at the time of order.



How long will it take to make a custom order bear?

Turn around time will vary depending on the time of the year, the nature of the order and the number of orders recieved. On payment of your deposit, I will advise you of the approximate date that your teddy will be shipped to you.



Shipping time itself can range from 2 to 3 weeks to the United States, 1 to 2 weeks in Canada, and up to 12 weeks overseas. Balance and shipping charges are due prior to shipping.
