This is a gorgeous hand-dyed roving/top from a very sumptuous merino. This stuff is SO soft and fluffy!! It is gorgeously "matte", drafts beautifully, and is a joy to spin. Perfect for next-to-skin creations, and sure to spin up beautifully!

I use professional acid dyes designed for protein fbers. These colors will last and last, and will be perfect for your next small project. I am a "scientific dyer", and I mix my colors entirely from the three primaries: red, blue and yellow, plus black. All of my colors are created by percentages, and yet all color combinations are a surprise!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
My first thought when looking at these colors was that of a pricked finger...maybe on a thorn...something dark and dangerous. But then I thought of the rich deep red of love, and how dangerous is love? VERY!! (Well in my case it is!) The colors here define mystery in love...deep, rich red, chestnut black, dulled pink, and all sorts of fabulous transition colors. Don't fall too hard for this one!
