his is a new wool I am carrying, and I am delighted with it! It is wonderfully lofty and full of body, yet so LIGHT...it will spin up into deliciously soft (next-to-skin soft!) and fluffy yarns. It has a feel of Corriedale mixed with a touch of Romney or Shetland. Perfect for beginners, as it drafts beautifully with the perfect amount of "bite". Best of all, it's all made in the USA, baby, all the way! There's six ounces here, and I hope you enjoy it!

I use professional acid dyes designed for protein fibers. These colors will last and last, and will be perfect for your next small project. I am a "scientific dyer", and I mix my colors entirely from the three primaries: red, blue and yellow, plus black. All of my colors are created by percentages, and yet all color combinations are a surprise!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
When I saw these colors, my first thought was those gorgeous ducks I see in the river. The rose color threw a monkey wrench into it all, but I thought it was lovely! Mallard green, brilliant golden yellow and rose-red combine on this beautiful corrriedale for a very unique coloration.
