This is a gorgeous hand-dyed roving/top from a very sumptuous merino. This stuff is SO soft and fluffy!! It is gorgeously "matte", drafts beautifully, and is a joy to spin. Perfect for next-to-skin creations, and sure to spin up beautifully!

I use professional acid dyes designed for protein fbers. These colors will last and last, and will be perfect for your next small project. I am a "scientific dyer", and I mix my colors entirely from the three primaries: red, blue and yellow, plus black. All of my colors are created by percentages, and yet all color combinations are a surprise!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
While I still think they should call Torch Lake in Michigan "Crystal Lake", there IS an actual Crystal Lake up north in the same area. It is a beautiful blue, or course, and I remember visiting there as a child. These colors will get you thinking about swimming and water-skiiing! Deep purple, royal, lime, and all sorts of transition shades!
