This is a gorgeous hand-dyed roving/top from a very sumptuous merino. This stuff is SO soft and fluffy!! It is gorgeously "matte", drafts beautifully, and is a joy to spin. Perfect for next-to-skin creations, and sure to spin up beautifully!

I use professional acid dyes designed for protein fbers. These colors will last and last, and will be perfect for your next small project. I am a "scientific dyer", and I mix my colors entirely from the three primaries: red, blue and yellow, plus black. All of my colors are created by percentages, and yet all color combinations are a surprise!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I remember buying a delicious top from another indie dyer, and they were close to these colors. In fact, it was my very FIRST combed top that I ever bought that was hand-dyed, and I spun the entire thing up on my hand-spindle. The colors were MAGICAL! I was in love with the way the soft rose twisted into the darker chestnuts and blues. Heavenly! So, here is my tribute to my "first spin!
