I have always had this idea of getting back to basics. The way our grandma's used to do things which years ago was canning our own fruits and vegetables. We had a big garden, milked our own cows, raised our own chickens and always had a freezer or two filled with beef, pork, and poultry. The 50's annd 60's were great ! I say when life was simple and we have the best memories. The older people around me taught me how to can meat and how to make your grocery bill US $20.00. Well that was back in the 60's but today is not much different if you have the time and are not working outside the home you can save a lot of money doing things yourself. Of course everyone can't but for those of us that can make our own homemade things gives us the opportunity to share things we make. One day I was reading the label on a store bought bar of soap. Have you ever done that? You will have to blurt out names of ingredients you have no idea what these things are. No wonder people have skin problems. So thinking "Back to Basic's" I decided to buy some books and make my own soap. What started out as a small hobby making soaps for my friends and family is turning out to be a great little business that I enjoy very much. I use all natural ingredients, no chemicals, vetebale based with no animal testing and no animal fats. I am always thinking of a new soap to make. I have very positive feedback on my soaps, lotions and creams. Everything just feels good and is good for our daily skin care. I think when we look good, and smell good, we feel good.
