This ornate ritual piece is designed to be used in a pagan smudging ceremony or to display your favorite treasures. Made from white earthenware clay, the deeply imprinted patterns are created using old jewelry findings and little wheels and stamps that I've carved over the years. The rich green glaze is applied in scrubbed layers over a dark iron base which adds an ancient mysterious depth to the piece. I like to make things that look like they might have come from old temples.

The symbols include a Celtic endless knot which depicts two hearts intertwined and is found in many cultures that understand how all beings and all things are connected. Patterns of stars, sun wheels and diamonds surround the pedestal base. The smooth shiney green glaze is a soothing color vibration representing the ability to find balance and create healing within. A row of octopus suckers is imprinted around the top edge for good luck, infinity and regeneration magic.

This heavy OOAK piece is waterproof and washes in hot soapy water if you burn incense or candles on it. You can also have fun displaying cool rocks, flowers, favorite gems or anything magical.
