Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese weaving technique. This beautiful spring-time green cotton yarn is woven with a rainbow variegated ribbon and tiny green pearly beads. The ends are capped with green glittery polymer clay beads and 3 strands of seed beads with a sterling silver clasp. The necklace and light and soft.

The necklace is 24" long.

I learned (and quickly became addicted to) Kumihimo this past year. The weaving of Kumihimo Braids is very Zen like and I spent many an afternoon listening to Prairie Home Companion and Wait, Wait...braiding away.
