Magic in the Water grew out of the monograph/research project for the Guild of Canadian Weavers Master Weaver certificate. I felt that there was very little information available regarding wet finishing, and that people needed to see and feel actual fabric samples in order to understand what wet finishing did to improve the fabric, and how to do it for themselves.

While the abridged version has more than 50% of the original samples, it is priced at less than 50% of the original. There is no free gift with the book - I can't figure out how to remove the 'free gift' tag. :(
