This one-of-a-kind necklace is majorly chunky! It is made of big round lava (basalt) beads and large faceted orange carnelian beads wrapped in sterling silver wire. The lava is black and has a really pitted appearance (vesicles).

The necklace measures 20 1/2 inches in length, and it closes with a sterling silver lobster clasp. Carnelian is one of July's birthstones.
