These ornate sterling silver chandelier earrings have gorgeous prehnite and prasiolite (green amethyst) faceted teardrops dangling from them. There is a single step-cut teardrop prehnite stone in the center, with a wonderfully faceted prasiolite teardrop on either side. The prehnite is a matte light green celadon color, and the prasiolite is a very very pale green with nice sparkle.

These earrings have sterling silver ear wires, and they measure 1 7/8 inches (4.8cm) in length from the tops of the hooks. The chandeliers measure just over 3/4 inch (2cm) in width. These earrings are fairly lightweight for their size.

Prasiolite is produced by heat-treating a certain type of amethyst to obtain its characteristic pale green color. Amethyst is February's birthstone.

Prehnite is a pale green mineral found in volcanic and metamorphic rocks. It is said to aid in toxin removal and memory.
