These unique earrings each have a single smooth green genuine emerald at the top, with an inverted teardrop-shaped textured frame dangling below, with a sterling silver ring that goes through the teardrop.

All of the metal in these earrings is sterling silver, including the ear wires. The earrings measure 2 1/2 inches (6.3cm) in length from the tops of the ear wires.

Emerald is May's birthstone. It is the green variety of the mineral beryl (aquamarine is also a type of beryl).
