Product Description

I made this pendant by saw-piercing a butterfly motif into a sheet of nickel silver, then soldering it to a sheet of copper. The copper shows through the cut-out in the nickel silver. I gave the copper a black patina to make the pattern stand out. I gave the nickel silver a brushed finish.

The pendant measures approximately 1 3/16 inches (3.1cm) across by 7/8 inch (2.3cm) in height. It comes with an 18 inch (45cm) sterling silver figure-8 chain.

This pendant does contain nickel, which many people are allergic or sensitive to, so I do not recommend this piece for people with metal sensitivities.
