These pretty sterling silver earrings each have an 8mm transparent purple amethyst gemstone, which is topped by a pretty sterling silver bead cap and a 6mm snowflake obsidian stone. The snowflake obsidian is opaque black with gray splotches.

The earrings have flower-shaped sterling silver posts and are just a bit more than 1 inch (2.5cm) long.

All of the metal in these earrings is sterling silver, and the gemstones are genuine.

Amethyst is a purple variety of the mineral quartz, and it is February's birthstone. Obsidian is volcanic glass.
